Call for Applications for Discretionary Grants

The MAPPP-SETA is calling for Discretionary Grants applications from its constituents for the following:

  • Apprenticeships
  • Adult Basic Education & Training (ABET)
  • New Venture Creation Skills Programmes
  • New Venture Creation Mentorship
  • Institutes of Sectoral/Occupational Excellence (ISOE's)
  • Assessor and Moderator Training
  • Skills Development Facilitator Training

Accredited training providers and employers, operating in the MAPPP sectors are invited to apply. Please refer enquiries to the following managers:

Applicants who do not utilize the appropriate application forms or applications that reach the SETA later than the deadline will not be considered.

 

The discretionary grant application forms, criteria and guidelines, the list of registered apprenticeships and the terms of reference are available on www.mappp-seta.co.za. Employment Equity and the Broad-Based Black Economic Empowerment profile of organizations will be an important consideration in the adjudication process. Please ensure due consideration to these matters when submitting proposals.

Closing Date: Friday 18th September 2009 at 16:00

Applications must be marked for the attention of Mr. Linda Mngadi, Ms. Nana Mngoma, Ms. Xolelwa Kashe-Katiya, and Ms. Dikeledi Mosalo (as per the table above). No faxed or electronic copies will be accepted.

The MAPPP-SETA cannot accept responsibility for applications that arrive late due to the postal systems. MAPPP-SETA reserves the right not to appoint any Service Provider.
